Alcohol & Drugs

Addiction is a chronic illness.  We know how hard it is to admit that alcohol and/or drugs have taken over your life. That you’re not in control. That you need help.  But, like Robert, you can overcome your addiction.

“I joined [the i360 program] at a time when I was really lost. I could quit for a few weeks, but I’d always end up using again.  I was able to get clean in a comfortable setting.  I had cravings, but I generally enjoyed my time in the program, so the cravings were less dangerous.  I always had someone to talk to if I was having trouble, and I never felt like I was being judged or looked down upon.  The staffers were just interested in helping me get clean and stay clean.”

How did we help Robert?  Through a personalized program designed for his specific circumstances.  His recovery program included:

  • Medications
  • Marital counseling
  • Weekly treatment to connect on work-related issues
  • At work support to help him re-engage with his associates and employer
  • At home support to readjust to life in the “real” world
  • Weekend therapy sessions  to strengthen new habits and behaviors

We know that the combination of counseling and medication provide individuals with the best opportunity to repair the physical, emotional and behavioral damage caused by addiction.  Like Robert, your therapist will help you understand how you need to change, and our Life Development staff will help you make them a routine in your life.
